PRESS RELEASE - The people of Nsit Ibom L.G.A of Akwa Ibom
State declares their support for MOSES ESSIEN, A gubernatorial
aspirant on the platform of the People's Democratic Party, PDP.
The people of Nsit Ibom L. G. A of Akwa Ibom State declares their
support for Moses Essien, a gubernatorial aspirant on the platform
of the Peoples Democratic Party, P.D.P.
This position was made known by Nsit Ibom Unity Forum, a socio
– political association in the Local Government Area led by its
President Joseph Ikpatt. Present at the occasion where other members
of the executive including the Vice President, Obong Francis Inyang,
Elder Friday Moses popularly called Action, F. J Umobit and AkwaObongawan
Grace Inyang. Also in attendance where Obong Tony Okpon, Dr. Nseabasi
Akpan and Engr. Ekanem.
The occasion which took on the semblance of a political rally
was held at Ewet Housing Estate, Uyo on the 10th of October.
Members of the forum hinged their support for Moses Essien on
his good track record as a businessman, administrator and politician,
believing he would continue in like fashion when he becomes governor.
They eulogized his good qualities and thanked him for his past
meritorious service to the state during his stint as Commissioner
for Education.
The Aspirant Moses Essien thanked them for the gesture and promised
to uphold the trust and confidence they reposed in him. He equally
gave a rundown of his vision for the State and his programmes
and policy thrust if elected Governor. He acknowledged the great
interest of the youths of the L. G. Area, who were well represented
at the occasion, in his aspiration and pledged to accommodate
them in his scheme of things both now as an aspirant and in the
future if elected Governor.
The rally was well attended, and was held under a convivial atmosphere.
