took out time to enumerate the programmes in his economic blueprint
for the State, and pledged to make education free, qualitative

Asked about his plans towards changing the economic fortune of
the State, the People’s Democratic Party (P.D.P) aspirant said
his economic programme which will be patterned after the Asian
model, shall revolve around agriculture, massive industrialization,
and the establishment of an international wholesale market in
the state to service the huge commercial need of the people of
the whole gulf of Guinea – an economic privilege presently enjoyed
by Aba. He also spoke of plans to harness the rich aquacultural
potentials of the state.
He vowed to tackle youth and graduate unemployment in the state,
which he said, has been the root cause of youth restiveness and
crime in the society.

for God’s continued protection upon the life of the aspirant and
for His Divine direction as the State approaches the next round
